My works, over the years. From school projects to experimenting. Working individually or together with teams. Using a variety of different softwares i have learned throughout the years.
A short film i had directed and produced with a friend,
Two strangers cross paths form an unexpected bond through a snack, their bond growing into love as they navigate through different stages of their love life together. But as time passes, the spark fades, and they find themselves drifting apart into new people. In the end, they part ways. However, each were left with memories of a love that once felt endless, now a quiet echo of what once was.
A multi-camera production where i was given the responsibility of director. I was able to work with a good team where everyone was co-operative and had a good attitude towards their work. It was a tough role and responsibility, but thanks to the people i worked with, it made the experience much better.
A short film made by me and my group for a module. It talks about drug use and it's effects on people, and how drugs leave a nasty everlasting impact on lives.
A project video i made with 2 other friends about the history of Singapore . I directed and was in charge of the scriptwriting, researching as well as being a part of the characters voice acting.
I worked on this project with my group, it was a short, comedic skit we made revolving around a lesson we had learnt. For this project i was mainly in charge of handling the audio as well as aided in the lighting.
shots from previous projects/ random photos, some of which i had edited/colour graded.
My Internship Journey at Firefly Photography. I was fortunate to join the Firefly photography team as an intern from the 16th of march to the 31st of July. Throughout my internship I was exposed to many different aspects of the industry, giving me the opportunity to grow and learn.
My main work for the internship was a lot working within the studio I was tasked with helping to handle queries and communicating with customers through platforms such as WhatsApp and Superbench. I was also tasked with handling routine studio procedures such as updating excel sheets, handling photo canvas orders and deliveries from clients, as well as basic housekeeping duties. I was also tasked with doing photo editing tasks and many other meaningful tasks. Shifting from out of studio work, I have also had opportunities in working on the field . My job was in assisting full timers in a variety of different jobs. Such as photobooths, instant photo prints, corporate portraiture shoots. I was also given the task to film behind the scenes footage for the companies use. Some of which were edited by my co-worker into videos posted into the companies social media platforms Being part of the photo team, I was also grateful that the company allowed me to experience working on the video side as I assisted the video team with their video productions.
Some of the positive take aways from my internship would be, learning new software. Such as lightroom classic, Evoto, Aftershoot. As well as polishing my skills on software sim already familiar with such as illustrator, photoshop and others. Ive also had my experience in using various different Camera, lighting as well as other forms of equipment. One of the tasks I was given was handling photobooth deployments. The photobooth services were provided to various companies around Singapore. I was given training by my supervisor at the very beginning of my internship to teach me how to navigate through the photobooth deployments. I studied the step by step routine of the task. From the equipment setup, to the shoot, to the printing and the controlling of the crowd. I was also given the opportunity in creating a design for one of the events relating to this years national day. Although my design wasn’t chosen I was glad to be able to take part. I worked hard on the design, my supervisor assisting me on what could be improved on my design.
